Mobile Munitions Proof Guns

 

IDES has designed, delivered and is providing In-Service-Support of Mobile Proof Gun Mounts (MPGMs) used by the Australian Defence Force. The MPGMs provide a high speed road mobile capability for the proof firing and testing of Navy’s 5" (127mm) munitions. This mobile platform enables firing at different range and battery locations to suit weather conditions and required range sizes.

The MPGM system includes:
