IDES Developing Future STEM champions

IDES hosted year 10 student, Jason Bernstein, for work experience in June 2018 inspiring him to continue towards a future career in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) profession.
During his stay with IDES Jason developed a concept, created a 3D CAD model, tested it using structural analysis software, manufactured a prototype using 3D printing and checked its accuracy with high end laser scanning equipment. Jason has a strong interest in Engineering and he enjoyed his visit working with the IDES team.
IDES is a wholly Australian owned, Melbourne based advanced systems Engineering Company that is highly engaged in the Victorian Defence industry.
